The CPC for Transport Managers course is the minimum compulsory qualification required by those businesses holding an Operator Licence. It is an industry-wide recognised qualification, equivalent to A-level and undertaken by people interested in developing a career in transport management or are employed to complete Transport Manager duties.
The qualification is a legal requirement of the operator licensing system for both Standard National and International licences and although the syllabus is assigned the format, pre-assessment and support of candidates is structured to aid learners of all abilities. Our unique approach and experience make us a leading provider of CPC training.
The examination awarding body is the Skills and Education Group, and their exams are 4 times per year, in March, June, September and December. There are two exams, paper one is multiple choice and consists of 60 questions with 2 hours allotted time. Paper two is a case study written exam where a fictional scenario is given to the candidate with a series of questions. This part of the exam is "open book", which means you can take the official training material handed out by us, into the exam, this has 2 hours 15 minutes allotted.
The course is delivered by our fully qualified trainers, Chris and Paul. Both have a detailed understanding of all aspects of transport management, thanks to many years of DVSA and transport management experience.
